Cupid is the Roman god of love and desire, often depicted as a playful winged boy with a bow and arrows. The son of Venus (the Roman counterpart of Aphrodite), Cupid uses his magical arrows to make people fall in love. Though mischievous and charming, he represents the powerful and unpredictable nature of love—both its joy and its chaos.
